Vinyl is not cheap and since it is trial and error, it will probably cost double what it should be.

Custom Exhaust is Scheduled

Steve at East Bay Muscle Cars in Brentwood has been called to do the custom exhaust. Steve is a big player in the Hot Rod industry. Infact his recently sold '70 Mustang has graced the Goodguys Gazette magazine and numerous other magazines for the pass few years. His craftsmenship is second to none and I cannot wait to hear the V8 come alive..

Saturday morning drop-off in Brentwood and Steve will have the car for an entire week to build it right. Complete TIG weld, X pipe, 2.5" inch mandrel bent piping, clamps, mufflers, etc. I'll post some build pictures next week.

Also, VINYL wrapping will commence tomorrow night and go into the wee hours. I will post a few images as-well. In the above image you can clearly see the difference between the stock Pearl white and the Matte white vinyl. It's gonna look HAWT!!

Stay tuned.

Passenger door is wrapped. A good friend was here to assist so the process was a tad ovetr 1.5 hrs. hardest part is wrapping around the door handles.

No tricks, just old school vinyl application, labor and heat gun.
Goodbye yellow pearl..

And I leave you with my latest decal:

"Wheel Gap Kills" & "Eat, Sleep, Drift"

Now off to East Bay Muscle Cars!!
Have a great long weekend!! -solo

Wow Solo everything you did looks good

Interesting set up on the vinyl...looks like a repaint

What about cleaning/washing? Won't the vinyl be prone to yellowing/fading also?

Now you need a toyota badge for the front grill and steering wheel (or you have one already)
