my power steering/steering rack blew right after tx2k and the car has been sitting. i hurt my knee and ive been swamped with my businesses so i havent had any time to work on it. the car will be ready for wekfest houston though. getting the rack/ps fixed next week. getting the carbon hood, carbon trunk, and abflug wing painted. will probably repaint the bumpers at that time as well. i had the japanese writing on the led taillight harnesses translated i just have to hook them up.
trying to sell the equips so i can use that money to rebuild the abflug wheels.
hopefully i can get the audio setup wired and installed by the end of the year but i wont hold my breath.

car is in the shop.. got a new steering rack and power steering leak fixed. ac compressor keeps blowing the fuse so they are tracing the short. ended up not making it to wekfest.
got a set of new headlights
not 100% happy with them. they have some fake cf tape so the light doesnt reflect upwards. might open them up and paint match the ring and cover the fake cf with real cf.

I Just wanted to stop by and say how inspirational your build has been to me. I've been stalking your build for awhile now but I finally went and clicked through every page, definitely worth it.
I wish you would've been at WFTX, was looking forward to seeing it for the first time and finally getting a view of a widebody SC other than my own!
I'm at most of the show events going on around Houston, I usually go to as many Mayday gatherings as i can, Khiem and David both had great things to say about you and your car.
Looking forward to seeing you around sometime

the headlights are actually from this soarer in japan
his car has been an inspiration of mine for many many years and he ended up parting his car. he was selling lots of rare parts - including an abflug bar which runs underneath the rear bumper, an amuse exhaust, phoenix power exhaust, and varis hood, but i only bought his headlights.
thanks so much. i was registered for the show, but my car was still being worked on and i didnt want to rush it. all the mayday guys are really nice people. i plan on bringing it to one of the coffee meets on sundays pretty soon once the weather clears up, so im sure we will meet sometime.
