I assume it's essentially a butterfly valve between the manifold and the turbo that works kind of like using your thumb to adjust the water pressure of a garden hose. Is that about right?

yea that is about right it forces the exhaust to flow at a faster rate to one side of the turbo so it can spool up a lot faster. then when you hit the target boost that you have the valve set then it opens up and you don't lose your top end power because the flow will return to what it used to be. thanks a lot guys more pics to come soon thanks again for all the positive feed back.

Awesome work! Is that a full titanium exhaust? If so, how hard is it to tig weld Ti compared to steel or SS?
