Default Seat tear 🙁

I just got a 01 rx.it has a rip on the side of the drivers seat and I'm wondering the best way to fix it to make sure it does not get worse. For now my plan is to sew it the best I can, but maybe there is a patch or a recommended way to take care of this.
i can take a picture later.

You, or a knowledgeable upholstery shop, can patch the rip, fill it, and then dye it to match the rest of the seat. If you youtube leather repair you will find all sorts of examples...

Look for one of the following companies in your area. Creative colors international, color glo, or dr. Vinyl. The side of the seat is most likely vinyl and cracks or tears are common and can be repaired by one of these companies for much much less than taking it to an upholsterer. If none of these companies are near you, contact a local car dealership and ask them who they use for their auto interior repairs.

For some rips and tears, especially if you dont want it to get worse, the real Elmers Krazy glue will bond it together and prevent anymore damage. It wont be perfect, but I have done it myself and was happy with the results until I could get them redone. Try to get the rip aligned, a tiny bit of Krazy glue along the edge it will hold. Just have to get a feel for it, dont put the side or end of the glue tip on the leather it will bond instantly to it!
