Default how to get rid of oily substance interior

I've been looking at some certified pre-owned Lexus from a local dealer. However, they wipe the entire interior down with what looks like those Armor All wipes that gives it that shiny oily look. How easy/hard will it be to get rid of all that product?

Just let them know you would like it all to be wiped off to your satisfaction before agreeing to take delivery. Their detail department will have the right products on hand to remove it.

+1. If they want to sell the car, they will usually do whatever you ask as long as it's something not totally out there as a request, which in this case, is simple enough. If they put any of those dealer stickers on the car, you can also request those be removed as well.

Should be easy. Warm towel mixed with water and woolite and just rub down the whole interior.

I would also recommend to ask them to do it. After they remove the grease, inspect the materials very carefully. Lots of times, especially on used and weathered cars, detail shops and dealerships will spray the hell out of the interior with a greasy dressing to make everything look uniform, shiny, and like new. When the stuff wears off, you might find an unpleasant surprise underneath which may include discolored, faded, or just bad looking plastic, leather, vinyl, etc...

Don't buy the car and try it yourself, if you do that, they may say you ruined the material and there's no real way to prove otherwise.

I personally do not like to put anything on my interior, at the very most, I'll apply some Carpro PERL highly diluted on some areas that I think might benefit from the product. Anything solvent based and greasy will only feel sticky and attract a ton of dirt and dust as well as add unnecessary glare.
