Default Polished out fingernail scratches behind door handles

So this morning I decided to tackle the scratches that were on my Lexus that I just got. I only used a Meg's round foam applicator pad to buff out the scratches. I think it looks great!

I also decided to tackle the small scratches that were on the trunk. On that I decided to use Griot's polisher with an orange 3' pad.

Pics were taken with my phone so nothing too crazy.

Looks good I did this and put the stickers of eBay to protect it from further scratches.

Thanks! I'll probably add some film also so scratches don't show up anymore.

Much better!!
I need to do the same on my door handles. You said you used the round foam applicator, are you referring to the small one that comes with the product?

I was pleasantly surprised when the '13 GS I bought arrived and it had the clear film on the front of the hood, both sideview mirrors, the back bumper ledge of the trunk, and behind all four door handles. Not sure if this was a Lexus installed option for the first owner or whether he did it himself, but its nice and I wasn't expecting it.

Nice job...I did the same thing a few months ago. I was surprised that the "scratches" came off so easily but I guess it was because they are small surface-level scratches.

I considered the clear door cups to keep them this way but decided against it as I knew I would take better care of the car so as not to get those scratches in the first place:

I had those on old 2008 Civic Si and the new owner still has them on.

Mine has these scratches pretty bad. I don't have crazy 'nails' I'm a dude, and I didn't know I was even hitting the door that bad with my fingers. This whole car scratches so easy it pisses me off. I've had black cars that didn't scratch as bad as this silver one lol
