First exterior detail
Nothing earth shattering, but thought I'd share a few pics of my wife's 2010 RX we just purchased. 68k miles, some rock chips for sure (Dr. Colorchip coming soon). But the red color is beautiful. Washed with Zaino Z7, waxed with one coat of Meguiar's Gold Class liquid wax, finished with one coat of Zaino Z2, all applied by hand. I used to have a PC 7424 but my polishing/paint correction days are behind me. Just trying to keep my daily drivers looking as clean, glossy, and protected as possible. I also used MGC on the rims, Black Magic Tire Wet on the tires, and Aerospace 303 on the plastic. Overall, the car looks great. I'm in the process of using up all my Zaino/Megs/Duragloss products and will switch to CarPro products at that point.

Looks good!
As much as I do enjoy many CarPro products... I wouldn't say you need to stop using what already works well for you just to switch entirely to one brand. We use tons of stuff by Meguiar's, Optimum, CarPro, 3D/HD Car Care, 22ple, etc etc etc. No one company can be the best at everything
Thanks for sharing!

That's true. Once you start accumulating products there's really no way to shift completely to one brand anyway. I am, however, interested in trying out HydrO2 and some of the other CarPro stuff. Thanks, Zach.

Looking good.
Agreed with Zach. Always keep an open mind. Lots of good brands out there.
Always get a good giggle when someone says " Brand X" is the best, I only use their stuff. Zaino users are notorious for being that way. They're not bad products, but in this day and age, you have to be either very slow or stubborn to still be using that stuff. I get it, brand loyalty, yada yada yada. I like to achieve great results with the least possible effort . Minimize fatigue. So paste waxes, hand polishing, and other nonsense like that are not on my list. Any time a product can do the work for me, to me, it's a good product (Iron X, Hydr02, etc.)

I love keeping my cars looking nice, but I'm less inclined to spend 3/4 hours of my day off waxing and polishing than I used to be.

For me detailing a car is therapy, it makes you feel as you've accomplished something. I've used some of the same brands since the early 90's, are they the best? probably not.
