Default Removing Snow from 2016 RX350 F-Sport

Big snow storm in the New York area. What is the best way to remove the snow from the vehicle without causing scratches to the paint.

If it's black, odds are it too late anyway to worry about swirls and scratches. Black Lexus comes swirled from the factory. If it doesn't happen now, it will over the next few months. Just face the facts and realize that's the situation you're in. You will sleep better at night knowing you're not alone and it's NOT your fault haha.

Leaf blower is the best way IMO. If you don't have one, remove the majority of snow carefully with whatever tool you prefer. Leave a small layer of snow on the paint to let it melt naturally.

I use a sno-pro... it's what dealer's use, and they say it DOESN'T scratch/swirl paint...

Amazon.com : Sno Pro Snow Brush : Snow And Ice Melting Products : Patio, Lawn & Garden Amazon.com : Sno Pro Snow Brush : Snow And Ice Melting Products : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Not cheap, but for the reach alone, it's wicked!!

The physical tool that you use to clear your car is not the only thing you have to worry about. Remember, your paint is likley not free of dirt, dust, grime, etc. Any scratch prrof tool will still leave micro marring if the paint surface has existing contaminants on it that will essentially be pushed across the paint. Also, if the snow has frozen into ice.........this will scratch the clear coat or worse if it slides across the paint.
