Without doubt, 303 is a good choice since it has UV protection.

I"ve used Meguire's Natural Shine for the past year and love it. Leaves a very nice matte finish (no shine at all which I like), non greasy, UV protection, removed a scuff I had on the lower black plastic footwell trim. I'm happy with it.

So, for those that do use Meguiar's QID, does it play well with the Lexus Nuluxe synthetic leather?

I've used it on all types of vehicle makes/models without an issue... a general rule of thumb before using any new product is to simply test in an inconspicuous area before using everywhere just to ensure there are not compatibility issues.

Meguiar's QID is mostly water though... and therefore should not be strong enough to harm any surface.

I've used it on all the synthetics like NuLux, MBTex, and BMW's leatherette. It works fine. I also use it on real leather for a quick weekly wipe down. It works well on Nav displays and in general anything that is not cloth.

I like this product for it's gentle but effective cleaning ability and that it leaves no sheen or gloss/glare at all. It does have UV protection but it is not considered a protectant, by me anyway.

Holy crap! I would have never had tried/tested that—no matter how curious I was! I'm glad no damage was done.

i recently purchased the Meguiar's QID but after using, it seems to leave an odd smell. After a week of driving, it has gone away but just an observation...Not sure if that's normal or not.

Not sure how to explain but it's more like a milky dense dirt smell? lol. but overall, the product works fine for me.

Not normal at all. QID is nearly odorless. I'd suggest calling the Meg's Customer support # listed on the bottle and perhaps get a replacement.
