I"ve used Meguire's Natural Shine for the past year and love it. Leaves a very nice matte finish (no shine at all which I like), non greasy, UV protection, removed a scuff I had on the lower black plastic footwell trim. I'm happy with it.

Meguiar's QID is mostly water though... and therefore should not be strong enough to harm any surface.

I've used it on all the synthetics like NuLux, MBTex, and BMW's leatherette. It works fine. I also use it on real leather for a quick weekly wipe down. It works well on Nav displays and in general anything that is not cloth.
I like this product for it's gentle but effective cleaning ability and that it leaves no sheen or gloss/glare at all. It does have UV protection but it is not considered a protectant, by me anyway.

i recently purchased the Meguiar's QID but after using, it seems to leave an odd smell. After a week of driving, it has gone away but just an observation...Not sure if that's normal or not.
Not sure how to explain but it's more like a milky dense dirt smell? lol. but overall, the product works fine for me.
