WOW
I am no longer an authorized installer for Optimum as I left when they made their last drastic price increase (and more importantly other changes), but it wouldn't completely surprise me since their last couple of mandatory price increases more than doubled the minimum allowable price for installers to charge.
I'll see what I can find out.

Zach, can I use some of my leftover 22ple VX3 on my polished wheels?

Thanks! I checked some product info at Detailers Image and they (22ple) have a product dedicated to the wheels and it seems to apply a much harder surface.

didnt read most of the post but I would opt for opti-coat pun intended.
Reason being is that opti-coat is the strongest coating available on the market. SiC(opti) vs SiO2(others). That is the chemical makeup and that C in opti coat is what makes it so strong and durable and no other company has been able to replicate it.
Most folks won't be able to tell the difference in gloss and the coating will last a lot longer. Its less hassle for the customer in the long run.

There are accounts of coatings "failing" all over the internet... opti-coat, cquartz, whatever... it is all very subjective and with the infinite amount of variables, there is just too much to account for so stating one product is certainly better than any other is just a gamble.

Unfortunately there is no real evidence to back this up.... I've personally done extensive testing over years with various coatings and in the end, they all perform as expected when maintained properly.

What happens if wax is applied to a car after 22ple VX2pro is applied. I recently took the car into the dealer after doing the coating and they have waxed the car. It looks like a machine was used and I was wondering if I would have to reapply the 22ple.. thanks in advance!

If they used any sort of polish or abrasive pad, then there is always a risk of removing or degrading the coating.... but as I mentioned above, there is no way to tell when a coating has actually been removed.
If you're feeling unsure, just reapply.
