I was cleaning my driver seat today and was JUST going to post a thread about this! All of my other seats are MINT.
My Cabernet leather is doing the same and I'm only at 32,000 miles.
This is my second 4GS. I've had this one a little over 2 weeks. I weigh only 160lb and I'm 6'4".
So I know I wasn't the one to do that.
I'm wondering if I should even bother taking it in to Sewell to see if it'll even be covered or not under warranty... Mine was not CPO.

The image with your seat showing the seams (not the perforated portion) is EXACTLY what is happening to mine. I've had my CPO '13 GS for 3 months. I noticed this right after I took delivery and even exchanged pics with my salesman who back in early May promised to fix it.

He did get back to me recently on getting this fixed but I'm still waiting on the call back from the service dept. I think if your car is still under full warranty (within the 4yr, 50k miles) you should complain about this as a defect referencing others here who have had a similar issue.

Dealer agreed to address the issue because it was a problem I noticed right before I took delivery of my '13 CPO. I believe they will re-dye the leather. They said its possible that I get the car back the same day. I will try to post pics of the fix once the dealer gets me my car back.

I didn't go through corporate to complain only because my dealer did the right thing and is now fixing the problem.

UPDATE: Just got my car back from the dealer, Seat looks great as they have a leather specialist that comes in once a week to take care of issues like this. They repaired it for me at no cost and left me with a loaner while they did the repairs. Got my car back the following day. Seat looks good as new. As mentioned, they re-dye the areas affected.
