Default Thank You For This Forum

I just wanted to thank everybody involved in this forum as it has been a godsend to me.

When I first got my Lexus LSL in September I looked at it and thought to myself how big it was. My next thought was "Well no problem when I get gas I will just pay a few bucks extra and let it be massaged by those big floppy automatic carwash rags."

Welll I stumbled upon this forum and it changed my mind. I only wash by my hand (it has never been to a car wash) and use the higher end products. It looks fantastic. It takes some work but then again for how expensive such cars are its totally worth it.

I agree, I thought i hit the jackpot when I got the "Lexus Club Card" for unlimited car washes at my dealership. I will never have them wash my car again! I found out about ceramic coatings through this forum. Special Thanks to zmcgovern4 and FsportIS for teaching me how to maintain my car!

Wow! That is very good to hear! I also agree with you a lot that this sub-forum is very helpful. I have personally learned a lot especially from Zach who is really a master in detailing.

That is why I'm staying as active as possible on this sub-forum to contribute back to the community and share back of what I have learned and experienced.

Glock47, you are becoming a better and better detailer

Yes I also thought my days of labor were over with those free dealership car washes only to find out it makes those dang swirl marks. Again as I said I now use the higher quality detail products and my car looks excellent and even though it is more work the ONLY one who touches it is me

I agree! That will be hot sale!

When I purchased the Cquartz UK kit, they gave me the "Do not wash" hanger.

I think they also sell it for $2.49 here http://www.carpro-us.com/finest-auth...tz-cquartz-uk/

Looks good, man!

Unfortunately I never really got anywhere with having a mirror hanger made up. You've got to order A LOT of them lol

Thanks! No worries, I bet you would have to buy 1k at a time! I just hope they don't wash my car! I told the service advisor too. I'm curious to see how the machine looks like.

It is swirling machine with a bunch of dirty clothes slapping your car with strong solvent based wash solution. I almost cry standing there watching so many Lexus cars including brand new cars going through that swirling machine. I can guarantee the following after going through that:
1. Swirls
2. Water spots inside the the car and lot of other places.
3. Possible some deep scratches.
