Any particular reason for machine waxing? Is it just because you particularly like to use machine for everything ??
Any pros and cons using machine to wax vs. hand?

On a related note, I thought wax is kind of out-dated now isn't it? I have not used them for a long time mainly they attract too much dust for a daily driver. I like the slickness and that waxy look but protection is no where near sealant nor coating.

Waxes have their place...

Machine waxing is much quicker and easier than hand waxing... it also helps to spread a very thin layer of product.

Hand waxing is just more "fun" to me. Both get the job done.

Seems like sealants are the way to go! Plus no one has time to wax these days haha

Paint coatings are the best for those of you who don't have the time.

Sealants are the next best in terms of durability, but I still do enjoy waxing vehicles Think I am going to get back on my monthly regimen of waxing mine after I polish it this Spring.

Machine wax here! I do enjoy the hand wax, but this is rare for me. I'm using a DA set up.

Use a porter cable for polishing, but hand apply sealants and/or wax.

Default Car Detailing Poll - Your feedback is important!

If you have purchased a new vehicle in the last 36 months, are you waxing it by hand or with a machine?

Please vote in the poll!

I thought you did this poll few days ago on another thread? Also, the option has a typo lol.

Anyways, by hand is my vote.

I apply it with a machine (PC or Meguiar) and I work it off by hand.
