Default Wax Without Chalky Lines

We're never satisfied with the results of waxing (liquid) our black ES 300. It seems a month, or so after waxing unsightly "lines" of residue polish seem to appear from nowhere. All too often, as I approach the car after waxing, I'll notice a fine line of residue wax on the edge of a door, or where the sheet metal rolls in around lights and etc. These fine-line-left-over-polish seem to appear weekly. here and there. Of course, if wax/polish gets on the plastic or rubber it creates a poor look, but this is not the condition I'm describing.

I'm looking for a liquid wax that does not leave these wierd residue lines in the darndest places -- usually on "edges". I suspect, owners of dark colored cars know the condition I'm describing, and trying to avoid.

Any suggests?

You won't have the waxy residue with a polymer sealant like Zaino or Klasse. Besides, the protection provided by a polymer sealant lasts many times longer than a traditional wax, and can be layered. I put 3 layers of Klasse on a year ago and it's still beading water nicely.

a toothbrush and a little simple green will remove the waxy buildup from textured molding and in hard to reach spaces by the rubber molding.

I personally like Mequires wax products. Mother's aren't bad either.
An electric buffer also helps on muscle fatique as well as stubborn left over wax lines.

"Consumer Reports" (www.consumerreports.org - do a search on "car wax") did a test and review of car wax/polish - lots of good facts and test based information.

Post Zaino

Zaino is the way to go!
No streaks, swirls, spider webbing, nor residues left behind after polishing.
Just the best shine you expect to achive.
