Default Cleaning products for black interior??

Hello. Just wanted to know what CL members use to clean their interior (leather seats, dash board, plastic trim pieces, vinyl, etc.) particularly for black interior.

I use "Meguiars interior detailers" to clean dust and then I protect the interior with "303 Aerospace protectant".

You only apply 303 AFTER you clean it and it will protect your interior from UV sun light. Both my cars are parking outside for years and the interior still look like new so I highly recommend 303 protectant.

Lexus leather seats are coated so 303 protectant will work great on it. Don't bother with leather conditioner because it will only make it oily and messy. The coating prevent the leather to absorb any of the conditioner. Don't trust me? Put a drop of water on the leather seat, wait 10 minutes, and the water still stay in tact because the leather is coated.

again, use Meguiars interior detailers to CLEAN first and then use 303 Aerospace protectant to PROTECT!

Thanks for the responses. From your experience, has the mentioned products been also good for preventing cracks on leather seats??

303 aerospace has been used by me for 3 years. I like it so much for 3 reasons:
1. UV light protection. I believe it has SPF 40 just like your sun block cream. This will preserve all the interior materials from fading due to the sun.
2. It prevents dye transfer from your jeans, clothes or the like.
3. Coated leathers have been preserved just like original. I don't see any crack at all. May be little wrinkle here and there but nothing major.

You can look at 943 great reviews on Amazon for this product.
Amazon.com: 303 Products 30350 Aerospace Protectant - 32 oz.: Automotive Amazon.com: 303 Products 30350 Aerospace Protectant - 32 oz.: Automotive

Again, before you use it, you need to CLEAN FIRST using something like Meguairs interior detailer. You only apply 303 protectant on a CLEAN surface. It is a protectant and not a cleaning agent.

My 2012 IS250 F Sport has black interior and black leather seats.

I use 303 Aerospace and Zaino Z10 to condition the leather - the leather on mine is only partially coated - semianiline. Not sure if leather is the same in the US but in Australia the base models are coated and the top model has semianiline.

Thanks for the responses. Looks like 303 Aerospace is the product of choice coupled by Meguairs. I've used Zaino on my Audi's seats although it's a different surface material than 2is. I may have to experiment with Meguiars. I wanna keep the stock matte finish look as much as possible..

303 gives you the original natural matte look. Make sure you wipe off the excess or else it will streak a little bit. It has the slick feel (not sticky, nor greasy) if you touch the surface after it dries.

The Meguairs interior detailer has a very nice mint smell to it and it clean dust very well.

Please keep this thread updated. I also want to hear your own review about 303 protectant. A lot of users like me and also many professional detailers out like it a lot too.

Thanks for sharing. I'll have to look at getting the meguitars interior detailer and 303 protectant. The black interior for my IS and FX needs some cleaning.

Yeah the 303 will definitely restore the original OEM look which is clean matte black look with some gloss under certain light angle. It will also preserve that look a long time if you apply it once every 6 weeks or so.

Support ClubLexus vendor and buy it from here http://www.detailedimage.com/303-M2/...-P12/16-oz-S1/
You should also PM Zach who would give you discount too.

This is probably the obvious choice but has anyone else found success/issues in using Lexus leather cleaner/conditioner kit? http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2006/1952.html
