What should my course of action be?
Hi guys.
I'm referring to this.
In case you can't see it, it's a very deep/obvious scratch/gouge which has been patched with a colour pen. This was like so when I bought it. With tax time coming up i'm looking to get a few things done to the car, to ensure it's still in beautiful condition in 5 years.
These include
- get these two doors (RHS) repainted/touched up
- respray bonnet and bumper to remove stone chips (and weird scratches, like someones sat a box on the bonnet and dragged it back and forth and then off)
So my basic question is, should I get a panel or a few professionally detailed before taking the car to get it's touch ups so they have an accurate colour match, or take it to get the respray as is? I'm not sure when the last detail was but there are quite a few scratches about the place (including a big f-ing key mark up the RHS) so not too recent.
Any other general advice regarding fixing these sorts of things is definitely appreciated too!
Thanks guys,
Champers.
