Would this also be referred to as a "Clear Bra" 3M application to entire front area, mirrors, and lower air dam? If so we had it done upon buying the car brand new and it certainly has kept up its job by keeping marks off the paint and such. As far as a lease is concerned, no way would I do that for them - unless you plan on buying the car after lease!

No, Opti Coat is very different from a clear bra.

These are completely different products...

Clear Bra protects the vehicle from rock chips and other types of damage caused from small impacts.

Paint coatings such as Opti-Coat protect the vehicle from environmental contaminates such as bird droppings, water spots, UV damage, etc etc etc.

Oh, I would try CarPro Hydr02 soon too. I have very good results with Finish Kare 425. It makes the surface super super slick and it make the water beading even crazier. Not only that, it repels dirt and the car is clean for a longer time due to its anti-static property.

I highly recommend this quick detailer FK 425

I put CarPro HydrO2 on over my Opti Coat. If you want to see some serious beading and ease of washing, I seriously recommend this. It takes it to a whole new level. The surface becomes incredibly slick.
