Default Sand Pits On Windshield?

Just picked up a IS250 and started to wonder why I couldn't get the glass free of specks. Closer investigation showed that the previous owner must have driven behind a sand truck on the highway.

They are not very visible until the sun shines directly on the windshield, it looks like tiny dust all over. Just wondering short of replacing the windshield if there is anything I can use to try and restore.

Thanks

try 3M glass polish...and if that doesn't work then go to a pro glass polish shop...and if that doesn't work, then replace it.
