Some of you may have seen this if you keep up with the DI Ask-A-Pro Blog, but I thought I would share it on here as well.

I cannot remember the name of the individual who owns this car, but I do know he is a member here. Whlie I cannot recall our exact conversations, I remember that he contacted me a while ago via PM seeking some advice for his vehicle.

Check out some of these photos... a pretty awesome transformation!!!

As stated in the article... the work was done by Brian Guy of AOwheels in Florida.

Car should have plenty of paint left assuming the readings were average to begin with. Car was compounded with MF Cutting Discs & M105 and then polished - nothing too crazy.

Seeing improvements like this with a PC always make me feel good about owning only that and not having a Flex or Rupes just yet. With the right tools the PC can do some amazing work.

^The majority of the work was done with a Rupes LHR21ES... the porter cable was used for 3" work.

The porter cable can handle some pretty bad situations, it will just take longer and require a lot more effort on your part. I used one as my main work horse for a long time... boy am I glad I don't do that anymore haha my body hurts a lot less after spending an entire weekend polishing paint now that I switched to the Rupes.

^Could be something like SOS pads. Could also simply be years and years of very poor washing or automatic car washes. Hard telling.
