Default How to clean tires?

Hi all, I did a quick search , seems like few people are using eagle one products to clean their tired. My tires are super dirty and I was wondering if Yiu guys can chime in on how you and what you use to clean yours for a nice black shine? Thanks ~~

Also , what brand microfiber towel do you use to wash and dry the car?

What I do is wash the car. Rinse the tires and while they're still a little wet I use mothers back to black spray on shine

i wouldnt bother to use any expensive microfiber towels on your tires. I just rinse with water and soap, and scrub with an old brush/towel to get all the dirt off. Next i put on some sort of tire dresser, again i would use an old towel.

could go to one of those car washes where you do it yourself and use the power washer to blast the tires too

If it is just dirt, take an old towel or sponge that's just for the wheels/tires and scrub. Make sure to wash the car first before you clean the wheels and tires.

I been utilizing yellow degreaser from a company called 3D. Depending on how tough the job you mix the degreaser with water. Since I usually wash my car every week or two. I only mix lightly into a sprayer bottle, 1 part solution 10 parts water. I spray solution on to each tire for about 30 seconds and viola. It saves me so much time. I used to use meguiars hot rims but I would have to scrub for ages! And not to mention I run out of product quickly. This degreaser cuts through amazingly well with slim to no scrubbing action. Then for tire dressing I follow with 3D Blue Magic. This dressing stays on for 3 weeks or more. Depending on the weather. It does tend to rain a lot in South Florida. It also leaves a really nice slick, jet black look.

I also use Mothers Back to Black. Spray-on application and lasts for a month at least.

I clean them using a degreaser/soap/water mix with an old brush, then dry them with an old towel. After they're completely dry use a dressing product. I prefer a low shine dressing that makes the tires look new/clean not like they're clearcoated.

An all purpose cleaner would work fine. Something like Sonax or Eagle One works well. I like Meguiars hot wheel cleaner.

I used these on my car this weekend. It has a medium shine. I didnt want it too glossy but it has the new look to it. You can use this on other materials too not just rubber.
