I'm curious if that would work.

I already requested to have a 3d model of my custom tube drawn up that will utilize the original locking features of the leaf blower. After I get the file, then I'll have it printed.

Did you ever get that printed? If so, how does it look? Am interested in the file if you'd like to share

Thanks!

I never did. My friend that was modeling it didn't have time to do the locking features. I have the drawing for the tapered cone, but it isn't complete yet.

I finally gave in and bought my first paint coating. It was between Gtechniq CSL and EXO or Gyeon Mohs. I bought them both, but the Mohs is on temporary backorder, and won't be here until after Thanksgiving.

We LOVE crystal serum light... FWIW there is no need to top it with EXO. CSL is very hydrophobic on its own, and is incredibly slick. EXO will reduce the slickness, but water beading is slightly better. Just depends on what you want I suppose.

Initial Impressions: Gtechniq Crystal Serum Light (CSL) by Zach McGovern

How is the Gtechniq compare to CQuartz Finest?

Gtechniq is better in every way imaginable.

jk. I have no idea. I can't buy Cquartz Finest, so comparing the two has never crossed my mind.

Funny you ask that... as of a few hours ago, my trunk is half GTechniq Crystal Serum (pro version) and half CQuartz Finest.

I have been using CQuartz Finest for years, and it has performed extremely well for us. Finest is an exclusive coating that is only available through a very strict, very professional group of installers. The network of installers & quality of product help to set it apart from other professional options on the market that may be considerably less strict with regards to who uses their products.

Crystal Serum Light (consumer version) has been very impressive to me so far as well. It is the slickest coating I have ever used.

Don't get too caught up in the "coating battle"... I have yet to use a coating that does not perform well. They are all slightly different in their own way, but when applied properly, all nano coatings are superior to traditional waxes & sealants. Just remember one thing... everyone has an opinion, but there is no definitive best coating on the market.

I'm hoping Christmas will be better. haha

CSL + EXO will be going on my diamond white pearl SC. One of the MOHS kits will be going on my friend's bianco canopus Exige S, but I have to wait 3 months for the paint to cure. The last Mohs kit was for my honda odyssey, but I think I want to find a black car to try it on instead.
