I use Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer. It is non-glossy and nearly odor free. I use it on all of the interior vinyl, plastics, NAV screen and as a weekly maintenance on the leather. It does leave UV protection behind.

There are many interior cleaners out there to choose from. If you are really worried about damaging the interior/dashboard a very slightly damp microfiber towel will do the trick.

Some popular choices are:

303 Aerospace Protectant for a darker, slightly glossy finish.
-or-
Einszett 1Z Cockpit Premium or Optimum Protectant Plus for a nice, matte, factory look.

All 3 protect from UV rays and are safe to use on your interior components.

I second 303. I haven't gotten it for myself yet, but a lot of my detailed buddies use it and are more than pleased.

I second Einzett I use it and it does not leave a gloss it leaves the interior looking like it was brand new.

What is the level of fragrance in Meqs Quick Interior Detailer? I use their Ultimate Quick Detailer and Wax, but they both have a fragrance that is a bit too strong for me. IMO not really needed in exterior car products.

I use a diluted all purpose cleaner to get rid of dust, old product, grease, etc before I protect my interior. I perfer Mothers Protectant, it smells great. You really cant go wrong with any of those products.

This is a timely thread for me as we have a new ES300h, and I am glad to see the positives with 303. I swear by 303 Protectant for the vinyl and fiberglass on the boat (and 303 fabric care for the canvas), but have just never used it inside a car. I will be putting on the top of the dash.

My feeling is that 303 is a great protector but it has two very disturbing problems for me. The first is the odor and the second is the level of gloss. I want zero gloss on my dash and 303 leaves it slightly shiny causing glare at sunrise and sunset. The odor is too strong for my liking but it dissipates after a day or two. Yet it the gloss that I mainly object to.
