Default Fog Light Renewal!

Today I finally got around to polishing my IS300's JDM fog lights. They were in decent condition before but I knew I could get them even better. There were some pitting but I've seen much worse.

Top Left: Before
Top Right: After 800 grit
Bottom Left: After 1500 grit
Bottom Right: Finished product

Steps:
-Presoaked 800, 1000, and 1500 grit sandpaper in water
-Cleaned headlights
-With 800 grit sandpaper, I sanded from left to right until the pits were smoothed out and the surface was an even haze. I constantly kept the paper very wet.
-Wipe the surface with a microfiber.
-With 1000 grit sandpaper, I sanded up and down until there was an even haze. I noticed the surface was becoming smoother and easier to sand.
-Wipe the surface with a microfiber.
-With 1500 grit sandpaper, I sanded left and right until there was an even haze. The surface was completely slippery and very easy to sand.
-Cleaned the surface once more and wiped dry with a microfiber.
-With a "prepped" foam applicator, I buffed Meguiars M105 in circles. Wiped off and repeat.
-With a "prepped" foam applicator, I buffed Meguiars M205 in circles. Wiped off and repeat.
-Done!

I plan on having these covered with PPF to protect from hazing and pitting.

Same general idea as restoring headlights. Glad they came out nicely!
