Default How to remove rubber marks from Clear Bra?

I have the 3M Clear Bra installed on my IS250 and I went on a road trip last week and there was a tire on the interstate. I tried to miss it but it seems i ended up running over it, the problem is I now have black marks from the tire on my clear bra. Anyone know a way to remove these rubber marks from that tire off of my clear bra?

Spray was is not a clearner and will nto remove anything. Clay bars are meant to remove contaminates from the paint.. so this is not correct here either.

Depending on the brand of paint protecgtion film will determine what you can use on it. A VERY fine polish can be used by hand (no orbital) to lightly buff it out. I have an acrylic selant/polish I have used before for this very reason. It takes a lot of elbow grease but works very well. Here is the link to it if you want to try a bottle of it. It is the best product I have found for clear bras.... and I have been installing and testing paint protection films/products for nearly 10 years now.

PT, you don't recommend Plexus due to butane, is that correct?

Technically any light polish will theoretically work. Over the counter products that come to mind are Meguiars ScratchX or SwirlX

Correct. It actually burns out the pores of the film and causes it to accumulate contaminates... making it look yellow.

Clay bars have worked for me in the past and they remove that yellow grime from the clear bra

Clear plastic yellows over time, like a chemical change. Once that happens, nothing will turn it back to clear. I think that is what is being referred to
