Hey CL, i know this is completely irrelevant to this site please dont restate in the comments BUT i ought a yoshimura aftermarket pipe for the bike and it has some road rash on the side plus sotra needs to be polished i got it off ebay dirt cheap so thats why i jumped on it. Would steel wool bring the shine back also what would i have to do to at least get get of that road rash and buff her out? thanks in advance

You could try sanding it down with a heavy grit then working your way to a super light grit and then polishing it. Its one of the ways I polish out uncoated wheels with curb rash
