Default car polish/wax screw up

hey guys i am not certain but i have a feeling that i screwed up polishing my car. i used "mother" polish and wax. i dnt know if the US guys have it but we got it in Canadian tire. anyways, its 3 step polish. 1st step removes old polish and marks and scratches (or fills them) 2nd shine and 3rd is waxing. so i did all 3 steps. i used to to car detailing for a living so i am not new at it...nothing was supposed to happen but the next day after i detailed it, i went to a touchless car wash bcoz it rained. and now i see unusual marks all over the car. i have a feeling it might be from the toucless car wash shampoo...i washed the car myself just now (hand wash) just to clear stuff out. dont know whats gonna happen gotta check it tmrw morning. its a bit dark now. anyone got any prev experience with that stuff...? if i actually screwed up anything i can do to fix it??

"unusual marks" meaning what specifically? Swirls? Small scratches? Foggy looking paint? Maybe a picture would help.

You definitely need to be more specific by what "unusual marks" mean.

Post a pic and we'll be glad to help!

Did you work in the Step 1? It sounds like it wasn't worked in all the way before removal. Generally those things are not wipe on wipe off products and require a bit of elbow grease. By the sounds of it, it appears that you have marring from the polish but hopefully the picture will tell a different story

Sometimes, when a wax is not left to cure correctly, i continues to outgas the oils that were not removed. I suggest washing one panel with Dawn soap or something similar to remove the oils and see if it gets rid of the foggy marks. I've had that issue on my Camry with a few of the UK developed waxes due to the difference in temperature and humidity of the States
