Default Protecting and Cleaning NuLuxe Seating

I am a new ct200h owner. I got a beautiful red exterior with the white or ecru nuluxe interior. No one seems to know what to do with protection and cleaning of the Nuluxe material. I have contacted several dealers and they keep saying their manufacturer's rep will get back to me. Any detailing experts out there with advice?

It's vinyl so it can be cleaned with water 95% of the time. It should also last a long time without any sort of treatment although I suppose you could use 303 Aerospace Protectant or something like that if you wanted to.

I too worry a lot about my Nuluxe. My car only has 1000 miles on it right now.

Where my left elbow rests (on the Nuluxe pad on the door) there are some wrinkles in the middle..Makes me think I may have stretched the Nuluxe (already!?)..

Yeah, I think you may have stretched it. I left an indent on the door and my center armrest in my last car and am trying not to do that with this car.

Smile Here is a good product: Lexol

Here is a good product to keep your car's Nuluxe in tip top shape:

http://www.lexol.com/category_vinylex.aspx Lexol is a very good car care brand and this product is specfically for Nuluxe type material.

I also like this wax for quick clean-up of the exterior: Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax

I've had mine about a month now and have been using vinyl cleaner and it seems to work great. I spray a rag and then wipe.

my vinyl wrinkles in the door panels. i think it's from sun exposure since i don't put pressure on those panels.

I have a 2014 IS250 with fsport that has nulux seats. I know this is old thread and you guys know more about nulux than I do. I use the lexol interior protectent and works great, but i'm afraid to use it on the nulux material. So, I'm thinking about ordering vinylex. Since you guys have been using it since 2011. Is vinylex by lexol still a good recommendation for nulux?
