Default 2011 Starfire Pearl IS350 Cleaned and Sealed

New car preps are hands down my favorite type of jobs. The already 'Clean' condition leaves me in a great position to efficiently do work. I had the chance to 'DO WORK' on a my sisters new 2011 IS350 in a beautiful starfire pearl metallic color. The flakes on this paint are by far the most dramatic gleen in the sun it's almost like the car is covered in diamonds. Okay, maybe i'm being a little over zealous.

Car was Cleaned and Sealed, no paint corrective services were followed out on this vehicle. But i highly respect the owner for properly protecting her investment from the beginning!

Anyways the process was straight forward. Started with the wheels and tires then worked my way around and inside of the car.

Wheels were gently spritzed with Sonax. Not much brake dust found here so the overall rim and tire wash process only took about 20 minutes.

Car was washed with a mixture of CG Citrus Wash and Dawn Soap to remove any dealership applied wax/sealer/filler/poop i really don't even know what they use nowadays.

For a brand new car it's surprising to me the lack of gloss and depth i found upon first inspection. It's just didn't look like Starfire Pearl should look!

After the initial wash and rinse down. Car was dried then clayed with DD Uber Blue Clay and ONR. From a quick glance it would not be very apparent of the need to clay bar this car. Many detailers overlook this step and i can't emphasize the importance of this even on such a new car! I picked up ample amounts of contaminants through out the paintwork including what i think was some fallout from the Fukishima plant.

Menzerna Powerlock was then applied and really worked into the paint surface via Machine.

Interior was tidied up and left to a "like new" state. Polished the Paddle Shifters as well.

I hope the Starfire Pearl AKA diamond glitter didn't leave you blind.

I am taking a stab at it, that you are a mobile detailer.

Can see the GS with all the supplies.

Good for you.

Next step would be to open a shop.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I am a detailer, primarily not mobile though. I have found that in mobile detailing this is to many unknown variables which could ultimately affect the final product of the vehicle. I made an exception though as it was a surprise for my sister as she was at work.
