yeah I use traditional armoral. I guess the thing with the dash is you want UV protection to prevent fading. I use regular armoral wipes with UV protection once every spring. I do the dash and door panals with it. It comes out looking brand new inside. To maintain it I just wipe the dust off the dash and door panals every other week with a damp microfiber. My car always looks like I just drove it out of the showroom. My friends are even afraid to sit in it and touch anything, lol

Typically you don't want the interior to shine because it may not be good for the dashboard. I would recommend cleaning the interior with a quick a detailer (i.e. Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer) or a traditional cleaner like the 303 Cleaner & Spot Remover.

If you want some UV protection and an enhanced appearance try the 303 Aerospace Protectant. It makes the interior look great and keeps it looking good for years to come. Also save 10% off with the code 10off CL if interested.

If a vehicle is really dirty or filled with grime I used Meguiars All Purpose Cleaner. Then I seal them with Meguiars Ultimate Protectant. For regular up keep I use Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer.

a little known gem is Finish Kare Top Kote.

It can be used on tires (matte satin finish) and has anti-static polymers for keeping dust off the dash. Also contains UV protectants.

I personally would recommend against a protectant that makes the interior 'shine'. This is typically achieved by using products that have petroleum and/or silicone. Not that these will hard your dash (they shouldn't) but they can leave behind a greasy film that will attract dust/grime faster.

The key to having a really detailed interior to clean everything. For the occasional thorough cleaning of the interior I recommend Optimum Power Clean, diluted 3:1 and a tooth brush.

Once the interior is clean you can add some satin protection by applying 303 Aerospace Protectant. The trick here is to get the surface clean first (take your time in this step) as it will prevent 303 from streaking and it will last longer.

For ocassional (weekly or bi weekly cleaning) I use either 1Z Cockpit Premium or Meguiar's Quik Interior Detailer. Both of these products will clean surface dust and light smudges easily and replenish any UV protection.

If you really want the best UV protection then I would fully recommend a Sun Shield and window tint.

Best

Todd

Any of the cleaner's that Todd has written about work great in cleaning your interior. The Optimum Power Clean or the 1Z Cockpit Cleaner are great products for your interior.
