Default DIY Wheel rash/curb repair (33 pictures 3.75mb)

My Work SC1 wheels were damaged in an accident a few months back. I finally got around to repairing them.

I spent less than 2 hours fixing this wheel. This wheel was mounted on the rear driver-side of the Lexus (as pictured). I am happy with the results of the repair.

Here are the pictures from the accident; that shows how the wheel was affected from the accident.






Here is the damage from the accident.










I spent less than 5 minutes with my angle grinder (w/ 60 grit sanding disc) to remove the metal shards from the damaged portions of the wheel.











I had my friend TIG weld some aluminum to the damaged portions of the wheel.
