Default Getting in deep........

I'm using Gold Class leather cleaner, conditioner lotion on my black leather and it is cleaning the surface very well........ however inside the grooves of the leather the gunk still remains. It's obvious on black leather, more so than any other color.

What will clean inside the grooves of the leather without scratching or wearing the surface out? Flat pads and microfiber towels are just not reaching in there.

Yeah...a soft bristle paint brush should do the trick.

Using a soft toothbrush will make you appreciate your car more due to the effort...or it'll make you hate it lol

The Swissvax brush that Detailers Domain sells works nice for interiors. Give that a shot if you can't find anything suitable

Compressed air on low setting with do the best, if you have it. Just spread the portion of the seat apart with one hand and spray with the other. Make sure you keep your mouth closed.. No telling what might fly in there.

Another great detailer secret.... use of compressed air.

You might also try a dedicated leather cleaner before applying the protectant. Optimum Power Clean is about as strong of a leather cleaner as you can use with out fear of damaging the thin protective coating over the leather.

Gently spread the seam apart and use a soft toothbrush, I've also got a Meguiars slide lock detail brush that works well too. It's meticulous work but worth it when it's done.
