best rubbing compound???
I just debadged my GS300 and while I've gotten all the adhesive off, there is ghosting around the letter edges that I simply can't get off. What rubbing compound will work best to remove these lines...by hand? Thanks.

I'd suggest trying ScratchX or Ultimate Compound. It could be that the paint under the badge has not faded and the surrounding paint has. If that is the case you might not be able to completely remove it.
Can you feel an edge to the ghosting or is it smooth?

Can you post a picture? Have you used a compound and a rotary polisher before? Compounds require great deal of friction and some heat, so doing it by hand or a DA isn't going to break down the product.

If you want to do it by hand, I suggest a polish that is more mild than a compound. Something like Menzerna Power Finish, when paired with an Orange CCS hand pad, is good for removing light defects like the ghosting that you were talking about.
