Default Black DD car

How do you guys take care of your Black Daily Driven Car?

-How often do you wash it?
-How often do you clay it?
-How often do you wax it?
-Which product would last up to a month and would still look good?
-Which product(s) do you guys use?

Thanks for the help.

i wash my car ever week or more since dust in texas sucks. i clay it about twice a year or less. i wax it every month. i like opti-seal instead of caranuba waxes. ill spray wax over the opti-seal sometimes. opti-seal last a good long time. i just ordered collinite 845 wax so ill have to try it but i know it last a long time too and its cheap. as far as soaps a good cheap soap is miguiars gold class or can buy a good one offline. bought an optimum package from one of our venders so iv been using optimum car wash.

-How often do you wash it?
I live in an area that is still under construction (new development in the 'burbs) so I try to wash it at least once a week, but never go any further than once every other week.
-How often do you clay it?
I will clay it once a year after the harsh winter because honestly there's no point at all in doing it any more often with the climate we have here.
-How often do you wax it?
I will wax it twice a year, once after having clayed it and then another time about this time of the year because the winter and harsh salts and calcium come along.
-Which product would last up to a month and would still look good?
I have absolutely no idea.
-Which product(s) do you guys use?
I use Meguiars' NXT Tech Wax, in the liquid for. Easy on, easy off. By hand... with proper maintenance the water still beads nicely all summer long.

I'd say to wash as needed. Once every 7-10 days is probably sufficient unless its exposed to unusually heavy road grime/debris.

Clay, probably 2-3x/year. If it sits outside 24/7, you could even clay a little more often. Really depends on its exposure to the environment though. I do my dd 3x. Just after winter, early/mid summer and just before winter. That keeps it in good shape!

Wax; I do mine every 8-10 weeks. Collinite is a good choice here. 476s Super Double Coat is a really good choice. Looks awesome on dark colors and lasts a really long time. (has slightly better durability than 845 since its paste).

I wash mine about once a week but quick detail a couple times a week. Clay once a year (spring time as it's been stored winter) and polish at that time. Glaze and wax every month or two over the summer when it's being driven, depends on how lazy I am.

I'm using Menzerna polishes, Poorboy's Black Hole Glaze and Natty's Blue wax at the moment.

Wow labor of love for sure:
Foam spray wash 2x a week - i think I wash it too much.....
clay bar - once a month,
Zaino prewax cleaner - once a year
Polishing and waxing once a month or as required..DA FLEX 3401 with Lake orange - blue- white
1-Menzerna Intensive Polish - removes the heavier scratches - and on the chrome trim it removes the foggy finish
2-Menzerna Super Finish Nano - removes fine lines any of the spider web effect, swirls -
3-Dodo Juice Supernatural - this stuff is amazing. Black is oily looking...
