Talking I washed a car today

I had the day off and it was a nice day to detail, so I finally decided to take out the supplies after almost a year of not using them. I took pictures at random, so I'll show what I have.

-Washed the car with ONR
-Clayed with Pinnacle poly ultra clay + ONR clay lube
-Polished with Menzerna intensive polish
-Followed by Menzerna final polish
-Sealed with wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant

The victim was a 2009 Obsidian Black IS250

Playing with my brinkmann flashlight.

I forgot that the plastic was here and got clay under the edge

Dust....

How the car looked after polishing

Sealant everywhere

Sealant removal

The sun finally came out, so I moved the car outside to take the final pictures of the day.

shoulda added some nuba on top of the sealant for the extra pop. Looks good nonetheless.

The car went back in the garage after the last pictures were taken. I'm waiting until tomorrow to apply a carnauba wax and finish up everything else.

I couldn't decide what to use on the leather, door panels, and dash yet. I'm also still undecided on what wax to finish off the car with.

I've used meguiar's leather product and they worked really well, i park under the sun and my dash board have the "wet look" for weeks after i applied the protectant... leather have the very soft and smooth feeling too, definitely recommend it... Those are the X package wheels right?

P.S. still interested at your exhaust for the sc haha..

The material of the dash on the IS is different from the SC, so I don't know what I want to use on it. I use 303 aerospace protectant on my SC though, so I'll probably do the same for the IS.

The wheels are the 18" optional wheels that come with the navi package.

I use the 303 on my IS dash with great results. Your car is looking good! Nice color
