Question Scuffs on Cashmere interior plastic panels

Has anyone found a good cleaner, etc. for removing scuff marks/smudges from doorsill scoff plates made by black soled shoes? They are almost unavoidable, and very noticeable since I have the cashmere interior. I've tried mild soap and water, but it only seems to lighten the mark. It doesn't go away even with elbow grease. Advice welcomed.

Hotwheels,
Try the Mr Clean Magic Eraser. I have used it several times with good results.

since yours is cashmere color, test it before you do the whole thing......

sometimes it's too abrasive and the color fades a little.....

Thanks... I'll pick up a Magic Eraser the next time I'm at the store, and test a spot.
