Yes, you need to use Toyota Super White first (available at Walmart.) Then use #051 the next day.

FM--thanks for the offer. I don't even have a local Lexus dealer--have to order by mail. If I didn't already have the 051, then I'd take your offer in a second.

Walmart has a ton of the Toyota Super White, all you need is patience. Some folks look at the paint and return them all over the place. I just bought one most recently, I did touch up on my sister in law's Sequoia. $6!

Not my Walmart--we're in a small rural town with the smallest "SMallmart" you ever saw--they don't carry any of the automotive paints!

Im a lexus parts specialist @ Lexus of Richmond. The best way to solve this problem is to use the BaseCoat for starfire pearl (077). I just used this on an older LS400 and it worked out great. For any of you all still having this problem, try 00258-077BC-21.

i have starfire pearl touch up. 2 bottles. first bottle reads:: 077-BC,, the second bottle reads::077. 077 BC is used first, BC stands for base coat. the second 077 is supposed to be the clear.
