Windshield Scratch Repair

Most of the DIY kits will state that if the scratch can be felt with the fingernail, It's likely too deep to be removed. You'll then either have to take it to a professional for repair or replacement.
Here's Eastwood's kit, which is similar to other DIY kits.

I envy you all who get scratches instead of cracks...
#1-crack from a construction truck that shot out rocks while driving...spread to over half the window...
#2-unknown cause of crack since it started in the middle of nowhere. It suddenly appeared one day above my rearview mirror and spread to the rest of the car. I found out that if you tap it from the inside it spreads quite rapidly, which was good since I got it replaced a week later, as opposed to many weeks :P
#3 will probably happen sometime within the next 2 years...its like an ongoing process...maybe it'll be a scratch this time ^_^
