Removing scratches on wood steering wheel, shift ****, etc.
I guess it's pretty inevitable, but the wood interior in my sc 430 has picked up a few scratches and nicks here and there, particularly on my steering wheel and shift ****.
Does anyone know if there's any type of cleaning or buffing compound out there that will remove scratches on wood trim?

If it's clearcoated (most are) then you can use the same compounds and polishes you'd use on the car's paint.
The paint they use on the wood is a polyurethane, very much similar to the clearcoat on the car.
Just remember though: It's probably just as thin a layer of clear, so don't use anything with too coarse a grit ( heavy cut rubbing compound or a general rubbing compound) unless you're careful.
