I just buy 2 of the neighborhood kids ice cream and BAM!!!!! dust gone.LOL!!!!!!!!!
No really, I second the Meguires Hot Rim cleaner. Have been using since it first came out. Love this product. Very little to lite scrubbing involved, depending on accumulation. Spray on, move to next wheel all around the car and then spray off in application sequence. Scrub only if impatient.

Lexus factory wheels are triple teflon coated to reduce brake dust bake on.

If you use strong cleaners or wheels acid, you can strip the coating right off. Typically, you can wash your brake dust right off when you wash your Lexus, no need to scrub???

I have used the Michelin stuff. When I had a frozen caliper my rear brake would dust up faster than my fronts in less than a week. The difference wasnt drastic, but it helped ever so slightly. What these products tend to do is make clean up easier instead of actually reducing the amount of brake dust accumulation. Clean up is certainly a breeze.

I wish the Lexus wheels were tough enough to take wheel acid. All Volvo rims could take it. Would leave it on while washing down the car and all of the brake dust would come right off the rim with water. The easiest way to ever clean a rim.

Remember that a sealant (polymer) is a better choice on wheels since carnauba waxes melt at or below 165 degrees, and since brakes generate heat then transfer it to the wheels, temps can get pretty high in the summer in the wheel area.

Sealants are good to ~400 degrees.
