Default Cleaning windows

I love keeping my car clean and detailed but the one part I hate is cleaning the windows. No matter what I try there are always streaks or some residue that I cant seem to get it perfect. These are not huge streaks but I notice them and it bothers me. I usually use windex and a terry cloth rag to apply the windex and a terry cloth towel to wipe and dry the windows. Any other suggestions? Thanks for the help

I usually use Stoner Invisible Glass and lint free paper towels on mine. Good stuff, safe for tint

Yep. Stoner's Invisible Glass (around $4.00/can) is wonderful. I use a microfiber towel to wipe it off.

Stoners and a couple of microfiber towel used to be my favorite too until this year when Meguiar's released NXT Glass Cleaner. Their new glass cleaner is the best iIve used.

Spray on wipe off with one mf and finish off with a wipe from the other mf. Results is a perfectly clean, streak free window.

Another great product to look for is Sprayway foaming glass cleaner. No fancy marketing schemes or lables, just a solid proven product.

That and a good microfiber towel should prove pretty effective.

Not sure if it's the same by you, but by me Pep Boys sells the Stoner's product. Might look there first.

Stoner's Invisible Glass can also be found in Target and Walmart, not just limited to auto parts stores

Any automotive store will have it. My local Walmart also has it. Good luck.

I've been happy with Stoners and b/w newspaper--free and throwaway. Windex is not good because ammonia is not good for paint finish.

I bought the stoners and tried it and this stuff is amazing. No streaks and incredibly easy to use. I wonder why I was struggling with the windex for the past 2 years I wish I had asked this question when I came onto CL. It would have saved me a whole lot of trouble
