Default Cloudy Headlights -How to remove casing?

Ok, my 96 SC300 has cloudy headlights. I've seen a number of FAQ's online that describe how to stick your headlight casing in the oven to heat up the glue and pop off the plastic cover and then polish the plastic with a sander.

But none of them tell you how to actually remove the headlight casing from your car to start off with!

I looked and I don't see any screws. All I can see are 2 metal tabs on the top of each casing. Am I missing something here??

ok, heres the trick, there are 2 nuts holding the lamps that you are forgetting to take off. you have to remove your wheel liner for both sides, look inside with a flashlight, and you see 2 long bolts coming from the turn signal side of the headlight assembly, unbolt those. then unbolt the 2 on top of the headlight. slowly but firmly tug the headlight off, try going from the inside corner(towards the high beam) and pulling it out that way. dont forget to unplug all of your wire harnesses for the blubs!!!! there should be a total of 3.

Hmm...looks like what you did worked nicely. I guess the question is how can you tell whether the cloudiness is from simple dulling of the plastic or the result of moisture build-up on the inside? Both of my headlights are equally yellow and cloudy, so I am guessing that they are just dull.

And I apologize if I am re-treading an old topic here. This is my first time on this forum.
