What does everyone use for care on the leather interior? I have had/have cars with leather interior and used regular leather interior care on those cars, but what is the best thing that you have used to keep the leather interior soft and supple? Does anyone use the cleaner/protectant from Lexus? Also, what do you use for your dash pad and door panels? Many years ago, I used Armorall. For the past few years I have used the "black magic" protectant. Most recently I have been using "orange oil pledge", recommended by others on the classic wagon site. It works very well and have heard that it also protects. Anyone else here use this?

Excuse my ignorance, but what is "Lexanol"? Something you buy from Lexus? Thanks.

I'm guessing he meant "Lexol," a brand of leather care products that has nothing to do with Lexus To be honest, I've tried every store bought conditioner, but shelling out the $50 for the Leatherique kit was definitely worth the price.

I've used nothing but Lexol on my Miata's top and interior for over 5 years and all look like new. Once upon a time the Miata had leather seats and on those I used the Zymol cleaner+conditioner kit. I use the same kit on the Lexus now. It works and it is preasant smelling. The Zymol kit also works very well on leather steering wheels.

on the advice of many and from other sites, i use lexol cleaner and conditioner on my leather-seated miata and the lexus. to really clean the seats, though, again from these sources, i've used fast orange hand cleaner with great results. just condition afterwards.

I use woolite mixed 10/1 to clean the interior and then use zaino Z10 (leather in a bottle) It leaves my seats super soft and it smells good too.You should give it a shot.

I have used them all and my leather is still hard as a rock. I think there comes a time when the leather dries out so much that it is beyond repair. Now I just use mild soap and water to keep it clean. Never really was into the shine effect on the dash and panels since most of it only attracts dust and sticks.

spxChrome, have you tried Leatherique? I thought that, too, but actually made some decent progress with Leatherique, when other products, including the much-revered Connolly Hide Food, did absolutely nothing but leave white residue in the seams.

i've heard that Leatherique is good stuff as well on leather that is very damage and dry, and when nothing else works. I haven't used it personally as my leather is fine (I use Lexus leather conditioner about $12 from the dealer, and it smells great and works good--better than Lexol, which I used to think was the pretty good until I tried a bottle of the dealer's leather condioner), but Letherique is something I'll keep in mind if I ever need it.
