This dent was on the car when i got it, i thought i could get it sucked out but i was quoted like $600 because the body man said he would have to repaint the door and blend it with the fender...

Have you tried Dent Wizard (http://www.dentwizard.com/usaindex.html)? They have locations all over the US, and might be reasonable to look into considering their popularity.

Find a reputable paintless dent repair place--they'll do it for around $100-200, and you don't have to worry about a body shop messing up the paint match and repair. Dent Wizard is a pretty reputable place, bring to them and see what they can do or any other paintless dent repair shop (some dealers will offer it as a service as well). Cracking the paint is a possiblity, but I've seen some worse dents than yours using PDR and it worked great without any paint cracking. Good luck.
While on this topic, I left Costco, to find that someone dinged my door w/ a grocery cart. Someone must have tried to dent it, as it was parked in parallel w/ other cars (bumper facing bumper) and it was in a gravel lot near the fence, and no cars to the left or right of mine. Good thing I have a trustworthy PDR shop to get it out on Monday. However, some people. . .

400-600 sounds about right with the painting and all, those ads on tv are BS so save ur $$$, plus i think the dent is too deep anyways for just sucking it out. i would go with DENTMASTERS i hear good things and they arent too expensive

I've tried all services on my car before as I am very **** about even a single 0.5 millimeter ding on my car.
Body shop is very expensive and may not always be necessary.
The TV product does not work. I know because I have one sitting in my trunk collecting dusts now.
Dentwizard (other competitiors may advertise as Dent doctor, Dent Pro, Dent Magic, etc.) and other similar services are all the same. Usually they charge $75 per panel to remove dings/dents.
I recently had 6 dings removed from my driver side door and 4 removed from my passenger door for $150.00. I couldn't even tell there were dings there to begin with.
Just last week, I had 3 dings in the rear passenger quarter panel and 1 ding on my driver side front quarter panel removed for $145.00.
All these were shopping cart damages.
Most likely, the previous owner of your car prob. either opened the door into a pole or had some hater knocked on his door. The exterior mirror is retractable so I'd say most likely he was parked in a very tight spot with his mirror retracted and simply forgot that there was a pole nearby.
