I just finished registered my GS300 yesterday. Stumbled upon the link where you can order your owner manual from Lexus from FREE.

Step 1: Type in the URL "www.lexus.com"
Step 2: Click on the "Owner" link
Step 3: If you are a registered owner, login. Or else you will need your VIN# to complete this step.
Step 4: After login, click on "My Lexus",
Step 5: Click "Owner's Manual", Scroll down to the bottom of this page to see "Order Owner Manual"
Step 6 : Click "Order Owner Manual", choose the vehicle you have registered with Lexus. See picture below
Step 7: Click "Submit" your order

Funny, after I bought my GS, I called Lexus with a question, they took my info for their records and sent me a manual, even though I didn't ask for it! So now I have one in the house and one in the car ;)

When I called Lexus to update my info, since I wasn't the original owner, they also sent me a manual. I didn't ask for it either..:thumbup:

A little too late for the 'sk8, hehe... :) My '01 ES never came with a manual, so I went to the parts dept one day and ordered one for $20! :egads: Should've known better, but at least I now have 2 manuals, one for home and one in the car :D

I forget who was trying to sell their owners manual for $50 in the classifeds, but I told them we could get one free, and some people e-mailed me saying BS. I'm glad someone posted this!

Yeah, Lexus owns!!! I didn't even know about this link until yesterday. I bought my car last summer and didn't have the manual, end up on Ebay, bought one of this guy with everything, leather case and gold pen, for $25/shipped... It sux but I got over it now!

I order a copy just to have it with me in the house and one in the car. Catchy is that you can only order one copy each 30 days!!! So for you folks who thinking of making a quick $50, it ain't worth it! hhhaahaha

The link for the Free Owners Manual. Lexus.com is working fine. The entire link is working fine now. Thanks for the link. The previous owner did not leave the manual or any extra keys to it. :mad: Now I just need to order the leather manual binder and a spare key. :eek1:

well, i guess i was the last one to post on this thread, but i ordered mine at night on 1/10/04 (no shipping on sunday). so they prob. sent it out on the next monday. well, friday comes around and my new books are in my mail box already (so not even 1 week). and the books are are new and sealed in plastic... and not a dime out of my pocket.... SWEEEEEEEET. just lettin you all know this works!!!!

I just ordered mine..

I found that link before the ink was dry on the contract for my 98 gs400. They let you read the owner manual online and it poped up with "Did you lose you owners manuel click here" And within 4-5 days it was here. I cant belive people are paying $30-$40 for these things on ebay. they also sent me the suplemental booklets with it. The owners section when you become a member has a bunch of cool stuff. when you log in to join you have to put in the vin number and all the info for your car pops up. I was shocked. It also will remind you of maintenance needs ect. and you put in average milage per day and everytime you log in theres a picture of your model of car with the odometer reading for your car. just a bunch of cool stuff. :woohoo:

thanks for the info, my GS didnt come with a manual, I was about to place a bid for one on ebay. Saved me $20. I registered, and ordered one, but it said that the Owners manual was backordered, but that the Owners manual supplements were Valid to fulfill. Anybody know how long it takes when they are backordered???

Does it come with the leather case and all, I really dont care, it was free, but as cool as it was to get the free manual, it would really be something if it came with the pen and the leather cover. Thanks again

i just got mine like a week ago. very excited to see a large lexus envelope in my mail box. I got both warranty and Owners manual.

Only downside is it is in black and white?? Im not complaining tho, not one bit, this saved me who knows how much, and still contains same information. The covers are still in color tho!!

i cant remember how long ago I ordered mine id like to say it took a good 3 months at least. Mine was on back order as well. I was starting to think I had to go back in and reorder it, sure enough I did get one tho.

Exactly my thought, this is NOT a good deal of any kind, it is the valuable information about FREE service curtesy to Lexus Owner. I always wonder why MOD decided to burry this information 5 level deep.

Suggest to put this somewhere on the forum for easier access to all CL members. Don't believe this is the same as a "Great Deal" of any kind like Fatwallet or Slickdeals of sort.

I remember trying to register for Lexus.com a while ago and it wouldn't let me. I then checked Lexus.ca and they didn't have that feature available. I just took a look and apparently I can sign up! I'll check to see if they have that option for me! Would love to get a brand new manual, I didn't get one with my car.

I did this about 2 weeks ago. I got mine in the mail about a week latter. I love Lexus. Of course I guess a free owners manual is the least they can do when we paid so much for our cars, and or, repairs. lol.

They have an online version of the manual now. I asked them to send me a courtesy manual, and they gave me a different phone number to call. Got my hopes up while I was calling the other number. She tells me my total will be $36. '02 SC430 btw.

I wanted to note that they have updated the website so some of the options have changed but you can still do it.

Log into your Lexus Owners Acct on Lexus.com.

Click "My Lexus"

Scroll down to the highlighted blue box and click "Search Owners Manual"

On the right hand side there is an option for "Order a replacement owners manual".

- Manage Vehicles
- Search Owner's Manual (located in top center blue bar)
- Order a Replacement Owner's Manual (under Related Information in far right under picture)

You should get it within 7-10 days it says!
