War on Terrorism locally....
Ok... so should we be fighting over in Iraq if bombs are goin' off here... 27 miles west of Houston???

Stupid kid. People are going to do stupid and reckless things and many times without reason.

When I was in hs back in the mid 90's, they used to make these bombs using bleach, drano and mix it in a 20 oz bottle and boom that thing would explode like crazy.

Don't they live in Austin? That's a LOT more than 25 miles from Houston, where the explosion occurred.
I'm not even sure if it WAS a teen-age prank...especially if the school had any natural gas lines running into it.

nope... and I don't think there was a surge called in for Oklahoma City either ( McVey ).....
I'm showing that we concentrate on labeling terrorist as Iraq / Iran citizens... that we overlook our own stupidity causing death / harm / chaos / mayhem in our own back yard.
Where was the millitary might when the fool decided he wanted to play "DC Sniper"?????
I'd label him a terrorist.... a good one.... an American terrorist....
No bombs fell on the District of Columbian... oh... the warmongerin' prez lives there... my bad...

I am not making a comparison of 9/11 to this incident.... I am saying that our government / media are desensitizing us to anything that is not an Iraqi / Iranian attack on our culture. Everyday in the papers from Columbine to Okl City to DC snipers and so on... very minimized as opposed to chasing an urban legend of WMD's to administering a government overthrow,....
I'm like really.... so much goes on behind the scenes that fuels that resentment towards the US, but we lend a deaf ear and a blind eye to such, while pushing the idea that every other country on this earht is a threat ......
Ya'll minimized this incident... but what if it was your child that was injured or killed in such an incident... to the parents of Columbine.. I'm sure they'd tell you otherwise....
