Default Lousy Seat Heaters

As much as I love my GS300 AWD, I hate its stupid slow seat heaters that do not do much to warm my butt to lukewarm during cold mornings. The temp is set to high and after 30 min, its still lukewarm and feels worthless. No point in these lazy seat heaters! My RX330 is tons better and so is the Audi A8l, Nissan Maxima, Jeep Cherokee, etc. ANyone else feel this way?

Errrr, how is it you have an 07 GS300? I thought 07's were now GS350's or 430's or 450's? Anyway, I'm confused.... but on to your point on the heaters - mine work crazy well. Too good, in fact, on the heat setting. I wish the cool function was "cooler" most times. Though I live in FLA... if I was in MI like you I may find the heaters weak for my liking some ice cold mornings...

No problem with seat heater in here either. Works great!!! You might have to talk to your Lexus service, maybe something is wrong and needs to be fixed?

The seat heaters on my GS works very well on cold mornings, maybe you need to make a trip to the dealership.

Ditto from KC, my seat heaters work great... especially in the cold. You should go to the dealership and drive another GS300 to compare yours with and if they're way off ask the dealer to make it right.

BTW, if you want lousy seat heaters try the Infiniti G35. They were awful.

The GS350 seat heaters don't seem to be anywhere near as hot as the ones on the ES350 loaner I had for a day.

Def. get them checked... they should work pretty well... I seem to recall some thread here
on CL about a folded heater element under the leather that caused a malfunction... maybe your's need to be fixed as well???

Andre,

Let me know what they say. I found out now that the passenger seat heater does not work at all. I am a bit upset.

Rex, was there someone sitting in the passenger seat when you check the heater? It would not surprise me if there was a sensor for weight on seat to turn on the heater.
