Is my new GS350 repainted(from an accident?)
Ok, when I opened the hood up to look for the headlight washer fuse, I noticed my front engine bay (by the hood latch) seems like its a different color (like a lighter color or not painted) and also some screws are painted black? Is that normal?

i dont know for sure. but on my es300, it looks the same. but on my es, i had a protector/wind channeler that covered all that, if anything, yours should have the same. but then again, mines an es, and yours is a gs, even though yours is more expensive.

I feel better knowing its supposed to be like that. Yes, mine was all covered with a engine boot(cover) just wanted to make sure. My car was a test model (not registered, not a demo car, but did have 94mi on it so they wouldn't haggle for a lower price because its "only" 94 miles) Just making sure they didn't pull a fast one by selling me a repaired one.
