Open scoring boxing. Good or bad idea?

I'm watching the Jermain Taylor fight on HBO right now with open scoring, and I think it's a horrible idea. Hope they don't implement this as a permanent thing. What do you guys think?

i watched the fight last night, and i really didn't like the idea of the open scoring either, takes away from a fight at the end IMO. everybody knew that Taylor was dominating that fight, so i dont believe it had much of an impact, but in any other case, i feel it would take away from the excitment of a title bout

Agreed...hoping it doesn't take hold, they say it's an 'experiment.'
