Default GS450h in Canada w/LCC?

hi, im in Canada and I was just wondering if anyone has any experiences with purchasing a GS450h with radar or laser cruise control or has asked their dealer if this option is available for Canadians...

I wouldn't mind paying just a bit more for this cool feature.

thanks in advance.

Weird. My Canadian Toyota Sienna has this feature. Not sure why the GS wouldn't.

that being said, you're better off buying your car from the US anyhow, you'll save $10k for a small bit of hassle.

yeah, the xle limited sienna has it... but if we buy it from the US, there would be lots of things to take care of (ie: taxes, etc)

Depending on driving conditions, the Radar Cruise Control can be an incredibly useful option. I have this option, and use it for 75% of my highway driving. Without the option, I wouldn't be able to use cruise all that often.

I agree, laser cruise or no cruise. Regular cruise just causes more stress.

Default Radar cruise only with the PCS system...

Laser will not work in inclement weather while radar is still functional. A good example would be the ability in fog to use cruise control as an advantage of perceiving a car ahead in the fogbank. If cruise is engaged then the car will start to slow down when it senses the car ahead. Keeping it on the farthest setting would be an early warning system to any problems ahead. Laser would not have this ability and can only be used when cruise is on. The PCS never shuts off so even if cruise is off it will react to obstacles but only prepare for impact instead of slowing down...
