Unhappy i dropped my camera

i have a canon pwershot s50 and i dropped it the othe day while it was on. i was sitting in my car and i forgot i had my camera on my lap and i got out and it fell . the nose part, lens area, or whatever that piece is called where it sticks out hit the floor. camera still works but now that piece is loose and when i zoom in all the way it shuts off automatically. i live in socal and wonderng if you guys know any place that can repair this. one guy quoted me $110? what do you guys think about that. one other thing, when i take pictures out in the day i see lines going across the picture after i taken it, but at night its fine i post a pic later today about it. thanks

TIme to get a new camera. The repair guys will have to tear the entire thing apart. Not worth it...you'll be spending more in parts and labor vs a new camera.

Looks like the connection to your camera's sensor has been slightly jarred, it'd be very costly for a camera of that level to fix. I'd say just go with a new one.
